Product Experience Designer for State Farm’s Innovation Department, blending business and UX strategy, visual design craft, and content storytelling to turn ideas into impactful digital experiences. With 20 years spanning fine art, graphic/web design, and product innovation, I specialize in building solutions that connect people in meaningful ways.
Great design often anticipates needs users can’t yet name. By listening deeply, testing boldly, and empathizing fully, I create experiences that feel intuitive, human, and just a little bit magical.
Designing experiences that delight—whether digital products, brand moments, or community events—has to start with people.
I begin by uncovering needs through research, conversation, and observation, clarifying not only what people want, but what barriers stand in their way and what other solutions they've tried.
From there, I translate insights into personas, journeys, and opportunities that balance user goals with business objectives and technical or logistical feasibility.
Perhaps my favorite part is the co-creation: workshops, sketches, prototypes, or mockups that evolve through collaboration, iteration, and play. Working shoulder to shoulder with stakeholders, teammates, and partners ensures that the solution is both beautiful and practical.
The most rewarding part of this work is seeing people engage with and enjoy the experiences we’ve created together—digital or physical, small or large. Even working out the bugs of a new feature or iteration is exciting when you're working as a team!
