Brainstorming the project with the business owner we outlined segments of the customer base, the brand's mission, voice and vision, and key services offered.
From there, I performed a competitive analysis of other small to mid-sized youth golf academies and private lessons and pointed out essential conversion opportunities and essential touchpoints to include in the user journey.
Finally, we finished the initial brainstorming session by setting SMART goals and aligned the agreed upon deliverables to help achieve those goals.
Before any new or iterative project can begin, you have to start from a vision that is desired by your target user, technically feasible and strategically outlined. To start this branding and service-oriented golf pro site, the client and I started by defining these key building blocks.
I have expertise in graphic design, web design, and user experience. I am proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma. I also have experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
As a new brand, it was essential to build the book of business by gathering leads to convert site visitors to customers.
As an agile practitioner (with an Enneagram 1 wing, IYKYK), including testimonials of collegiate golfers is a way to "close the loop." The primary business goal of Coach Mo Golf Pro is to procure youth golfers who aspire to attain scholarships and collegiate golf careers. To demonstrate the connection, the customer journey tells this story:
Da proof is in da puddin', ya'll. The customer journey needs to be designed from start to finish with clear goals, demonstrating your ability to help the user achieve those goals. The customer/user is the hero, product/service owner/you are the guide. All assets need to be designed to demonstrate the journey to achieving results!
If you have any questions or would like to discuss a project, feel free to contact me at any time. I am always open to new opportunities and challenges.
